La Concha’s highly anticipated ‘One Hot Summer Night’ event represents the historic Puerto Rican night long celebration, “La Noche de San Juan,” originally named after the saint San Juan Bautista. This celebration takes place on the longest day of the year, welcoming the new summer season.
According to the old San Juan superstitions, if you desire your upcoming year to be filled with good luck, it is said that on this date you should:
- Jump over a bonfire
- Burn a piece of paper that has your significant other’s name on it
- Burn something that is old and personal, as it will leave behind the bad and start a fresh new phase of life
- Swim into the ocean after midnight to purify your body and soul
On this day each year, La Concha celebrates by putting our own exotic spin on this traditional Puerto Rico holiday by hosting an unforgettable evening of hot entertainment on our pool decks.

Friday, June 23: Our main event at Solera Pool and Lobby Bar will feature live music by Los Rabanes, PJ Sin Suela, DJ Victor Carmona, DJ Velcro, and MIUT. This fabulous celebration starts at 8:00pm and will be full of Caribbean culture, lively entertainment, exotic cocktails and sizzling action until 3:00am. Dress code: Resort Chic Attire
Saturday, June 24: All-Access ticket holders can dance to the beats of DJ Payola and Mano Santa at our Endless Sunset Pool Party at Marena adults-only pool from 4:00pm to 10:00pm.
Sunday, June 25: Get your tickets for our first Trópico Summer Brunch and say goodbye to this one hot summer weekend! 11:00am to 5:00pm at Perla, with live entertainment featuring DJ Jon Delgado, DJ Hec, and more!
